Creating a Component Address

  • Updated

After the Equipment Structure and one or more Component Address Groups have been defined the Setup of a Component Address can be started.

But first one needs to decide, if the numbering of the Code (“No.”) of the Component Address shall be performed manually or automatically by using the Number Series.

Since manual numbering is most common for Component Addresses, this manual refers to it.

Clicking on “Masterdata” shows the submenu elements depending on the active user role, where “Component Address” can be found.
