Adding an Object Monitoring Line of the Type “Date”
The Assignment of an Activity (Time Schedule) and a Technical Object (Component Address, Mounting Position, Technical Component or Vehicle) can be setup anytime via the Card page or list of Technical Objects.
The decisive factor for the procedure is whether a time schedule with a "Type of Monitoring" of the type "Date" (e.g. "Maintenance every 3 months") or "Counter" (e.g. "Maintenance after 30,000 km") is to be assigned.
The monitoring type of the type "Date" is defined via a time interval in combination with a start date and enables the calculation of the date on which the desired activity is due.
Opening the Technical Object
For Example clicking on „Technical Components“ on the „Homepage“ below „Master Data“:
By selecting the object in the list of technical components and clicking on the relevant number in the "No." column, the technical component can be opened for editing.
Alternatively, the option for editing is also available by clicking on the 3 vertical dots in the "No." field.
Opening the Object Monitoring Line
By clicking on „Process“ and then “Monitoring Lines” the Object monitoring Lines of the Technical Object in question can be opened.
A new line is created by clicking of the "New" button.
If one or more lines already exist here, the cursor can be placed in the field below and by clicking on "New" a new line is then inserted.
With „Tab“ or clicking on the List a new Line Number is automatically assigned.
For clearer editing, the Card view can now be opened by clicking on "Process" and then "Card".
The Card Page of the Object Monitoring Line of the Technical Component is opened:
Details Info Tab General
Since a Time Schedule of the type "Date" (based on a time interval) is to be added here,
- the "Time Schedule No." field must be filled in first. With "Select from full list" in the drill-down menu, the list of created schedules can be opened.
- By selecting a time schedule, the description texts of the time schedule are copied to the description fields.
- The "Set next Action at" field must be adjusted if necessary.
- The "Template code" field must remain empty!
Details Info Tab Date
Subsequently, in the "Date" info tab
- the "Time Slice" (e.g. 3M for 3 months)
- and "Starting Date-Time" (e.g. 190520 0800 for 19.05.2020 08:00 a.m.)
must be entered to specify the intervals applicable to this Technical Component.
The fields on the right side are informative for result control.
The time schedule based on the monitoring of a time interval has been added to the Technical Object and will subsequently be taken into account for the calculation of Date Proposals, e.g. at the Work Planer Role Center.
Additional Information
- MAIN-TOOL assumes a 24/7 operation.
- Individual Time Slices are possible for several Object Monitoring Lines.
