Assigning Objects to Time Schedules

Adding an Object Monitoring Line of the Type “Date”

The Assignment of an Activity (Time Schedule) and a Technical Object (Component Address, Mounting Position, Technical Component or Vehicle) can be setup anytime via the Card page or list of Technical Objects.

The decisive factor for the procedure is whether a time schedule with a "Type of Monitoring" of the type "Date" (e.g. "Maintenance every 3 months") or "Counter" (e.g. "Maintenance after 30,000 km") is to be assigned.

The monitoring type of the type "Date" is defined via a time interval in combination with a start date and enables the calculation of the date on which the desired activity is due.

Opening the Technical Object

For Example clicking on „Technical Components“ on the „Homepage“ below „Master Data“:

By selecting the object in the list of technical components and clicking on the relevant number in the "No." column, the technical component can be opened for editing.

Alternatively, the option for editing is also available by clicking on the 3 vertical dots in the "No." field.

If one or more lines already exist here, the cursor can be placed in the field below and by clicking on "New" a new line is then inserted.

  • By selecting a time schedule, the description texts of the time schedule are copied to the description fields.
  • The "Set next Action at" field must be adjusted if necessary.

must be entered to specify the intervals applicable to this Technical Component.

The fields on the right side are informative for result control.
