In the following, the recording of a counter reading-based preventive activity is explained:
After 1000 operating hours, the “Supply Pump 0815” of the “Pump 123” is to be inspected, which is assigned to it as a subcomponent. The “Pump 123” has an object monitoring line for an operating hours meter “C4711” and is to inherit this to the “Supply Pump 0815”.
- First, it must be navigated to the “Supply Pump 0815” of the “Pump 123”.
- An object monitoring line is added and
- First the template code is selected,
- Then, the associated Inspection Time Schedule for the “Supply Pump 0815” is assigned.
By opening the Card view of the object monitoring line (clicking on “Process”, then “Card”), it is possible to define in the “Counter” info tab:
- Ultimate Value,
- Interval of the Inspection,
- Initial Value (here „0“),
- Tolerance Value (the larger, the earlier the date will be displayed as "due"),
- Inheritance of the counter value from a parent "Technical component",
- Selection of the technical component
- Selection of the monitoring line of the parent Technical Component
When the card view is closed, the object monitoring line is recorded, the Counter Reading of “Pump 123” is inherited to the “Supply Pump 0815” and the maintenance date will be automatically displayed in the role center when the next due date is reached considering the tolerance value.
