Before beginning any further configuration work, the maintool setup function must be executed. This creates the required setup tables in the background that are needed for further configuration. Additionally, the setup card displays the currently installed versions of BC and maintool.
Running the Setup Function
Use the "Tell Me" search (Alt+Q) for maintool Setup to open the following card:
Click Setup to run the setup function.
If errors occur during the setup process, they can be viewed via More Options > Related > Tracking Entries.
BC Version and maintool Version
The maintool Setup card displays the currently installed version of BC as well as the version of maintool. This information is typically required for support requests.
