Important note
Intermediate update first to version X.0.10008.250 then to X.X.20230902.2
If you want to upgrade from a version lower than or equal to version 10008.121 to the current version you must first update to version 10008.250 and then to version 20230902.2, as fields in MAIN-TOOL have been removed.
Translations as separate extensions in future
Starting with version XX.XX.20140901, the MAIN-TOOL and MAIN-TOOL Mobile translations will be provided in separate extensions for each language. From now on, these must be installed in addition to the MAIN-TOOL and MAIN-TOOL Mobile extensions so that the respective language is available. The translations are maintained and edited in the GLI Translation Tool, offering us the benefits of a centralized and standardized translation with fully automated provision.
Changes and enhancements in MAIN-TOOL
Work order - Create Quote/ Create Invoice
If a 'Sales quote' or 'Sales invoice' is created and only one no. series is available, the new sales quote or sales invoice will be created automatically without the need to enter a no. series. If the no. series has a no. series link, the selected no. series will be used instead of always using the default no. series.
Calculation of the resource price incomplete
A bug regarding the new price calculation has been fixed. No values were transferred if no price list was available.
Mobile - Ad Hoc Work Order - Work Order Category - Confirm Transfer Default
The confirmation dialog for transferring the default values no longer appears if the trigger of the validate is the mobile solution. In addition, the default dimensions from the order category are only transferred if the value of the “TransferDefaultValues” variable is true.
Work order conflicts - Calculation errors
A bug has been fixed that caused an error in the calculation of the conflicts.
EIC - Problem with special German characters
When determining the structure, the data is saved internally in so-called memo fields. When working with these fields, an incorrect character set was used, which resulted in umlauts, for example, being processed incorrectly. This has been fixed.
