The third tile in the "Work" area of the MAIN-TOOL mobile app is "Fault and Defect Detection", which is saved in MAIN-TOOL as an "Work Order Request".
The process for recording a fault and defect entry begins with the assignment of a single technical object (mandatory field). This is possible by clicking on the pencil symbol and a subsequent search query or the barcode symbol (activation of barcode scanner).
Alternatively, a fault and defect entry can be created after selecting a checklist line. In this case, the assigned technical object is taken from the reference object of the checklist line.
Other mandatory fields in the fault and defect report are "Description" and "Malfunction Code".
All other fields are optional, and any number of additional photos can be created, viewed, edited, deleted or finally saved. The description text for the photo is automatically inserted from the "Description" field of the fault and defect report. The tick next to "Picture created" indicates that a photo has already been added.
The recording of a Fault and defect detection is completed with the "Report", which saves and closes the Report and registers it in MAIN-TOOL with the next synchronization.
