This function can be used to transfer an item to another location or bin. Extensions for putaway suggestions and picks are not supported by the maintool Mobile app.
With this function, a distinction is made between "Internal" stock transfer and "To external location". The former is synchronized in the "Item Reclassification Journal", the latter leads to a "Transfer Orders", for which the license type must not correspond to the "Restricted user".
- To enter the stock transfer, the stock transfer type must first be selected in the "Type" field.
- The "Current Location" and, if applicable, "Bin" must then be entered using the keyboard, lookup, pencil-button or barcode scan function.
- Then the "Item" must be selected, which must have stock depending on the bin requirement.
- The "New Location" and, if applicable, "New Bin" can then be specified,
- as well as the "Quantity" to be transferred in the standard unit of the item.
Click "Save" to complete the transfer. Until synchronization, the stock transfer line can be changed or deleted by clicking on the menu button in the "Already added" menu.
During synchronization, a distinction is made as described above as to whether a "Transfer Order" or a line is created in the "Item Reclassification Journal". Internal stock transfers are posted automatically during synchronization if this is activated in the "Mobile User Setup".
