To create a user to use the mobile app, go to page Anveo User.
Click "New" to create a new user.
The Anveo User card allows you to configure the following properties and settings:
Anveo User: used for identification within BC.
User Name: name that will be displayed on the mobile device.
New Password: this field allows you to specify a new password for the Anveo User or update the current password.
User Language: The Anveo User user can be assigned to a language via this field. This can be changed on the mobile device.
Main Menu: This field should already be filled in with the value 'MAIN-TOOL'. Only one main menu is permitted for each user.
Default Company: Set the default company for the Anveo User here.
Dynamics User: Set the corresponding Dynamics User for the Anveo User here.
The 'Relation Type' must be set to 'Resource' because the job will be assigned through a resource.
The 'Relation Code' is a resource for the Anveo user.
Synchronization Packages
Synchronization between BC and the MAIN-TOOL Mobile app is not possible without activated synchronization packages.
All MAIN-TOOL synchronization packages must be assigned to the user, whereby only the "MAIN-TOOL History" package is optional, depending on the desired availability of history data.
To do this, click on Synchronization Packages in the user card and add all MAIN-TOOL packages.
After the user has been set up, the user information must be transmitted to the Anveo Server. This can be done by clicking on "Replicate".
Subsequently, a click on "Update Delta Scripts" is required to store the structure specified in the synchronization packages for the user on the Anveo Delta Server.
Note:
- A maximum of three different devices can be used per Anveo user with a standard license.
- By clicking on "Mobile Devices", you can see which devices the user has logged in with.
- Devices can also be deleted for the user. It is recommended to check in advance whether data is still available for synchronization, as it will no longer be available afterwards.
