Role Center Maintenance – Worker: Cues, Filters and Work Order Traffic Light

  • Updated

The Role Center Maintenance – Worker provides various cues that exclusively count Work Orders. Filters can be configured individually via the Worker Role Center Setup. This article describes which filters are applied per section and cue, how the time period is calculated, and how the Work Order traffic light functions.

Worker Role Center Setup

Section: Work to Be Performed

The following fields are used for the calculation:

The distinction between Unplanned and Planned is based on the field Planned. This filter is fixed.

Period Calculation

All three cues filter on the Execution Date. The filter is determined by the fields Current Period and Current Period Additional Time. The calculation is always based on the work date. No start date is determined – only an end date.

Setting Day:

  • Without Current Period Additional Time: filter up to today (work date) 23:59 – e.g. <= 21.01.2025 23:59
  • With setting 3D: work date plus 3 days – e.g. <= 24.01.2025 23:59

Setting Week:

  • Without Current Period Additional Time: end of current week – e.g. <= 26.01.2025 23:59 (Sunday)
  • With setting 3D: end of current week plus 3 days – e.g. <= 29.01.2025 23:59

Setting Month:

  • Without Current Period Additional Time: end of current month – e.g. <= 31.01.2025 23:59
  • With setting 3D: end of current month plus 3 days – e.g. <= 03.02.2025 23:59

Section: Incomplete Work

The following fields are used for the calculation:

The time period is determined identically to the first section. The following additional fixed filters apply:

  • Blocked Work Orders are not included.
  • Standing Orders are not included.
The filter Status Range Incomplete should be reviewed and corrected if necessary – recommended value: 200..299 (from Execution up to just before Completed).

Section: Future Work

The following fields are used for the calculation:

Filtering follows the same logic as the first section. For the Execution Date, the Future Period is additionally taken into account, resulting in a date range filter with both a start and an end date.

The start date is calculated as in the second section. The end date is derived from the Future Period.

Example (setting: Month, future period: 31 days):

  • Work date → last day of month → plus 1 day = start date: 01.02.2025 00:00
  • Start date plus 31 days = end date: 03.03.2025 23:59
  • Result: 01.02.2025 00:00 .. 03.03.2025 23:59

Calendar Selection

A custom time period can be selected via the calendar in the Role Center. All cues are then recalculated based on this selection. When the Role Center is opened, the currently calculated period is displayed.

Example: Selecting the week from 27.01.2025 to 31.01.2025 applies the following filter: 27.01.2025 00:00 .. 31.01.2025 23:59.

As soon as a cue is opened and the user returns to the Role Center, the calendar filter is reset automatically – even if a period is still marked in the calendar. A manual reset is possible via the Reset button in the calendar.

Work Order Traffic Light

The following fields are taken into account when calculating the Work Order traffic light:

Two percentage thresholds can be configured. The traffic light color is determined as follows:

  • From 50 %: Green
  • From 30 %: Yellow
  • Below 30 %: Red

The field Threshold until Completed defines the Work Order Status from which an order is considered finished – default value: 270 (Reported as Completed in Mobile). This results in the status filter 270..400 (Reported as Completed to Closed).

The calculation is performed in the following steps:

  1. All Work Orders within the current period (see section 1) are counted.
  2. Work Orders within the status filter (270..400) are counted.
  3. The percentage is calculated from both values.
  4. The filter Status Range Traffic Light is additionally applied to all Work Orders.
Blocked Work Orders are not included in the Work Order traffic light calculation.
