The Role Center Work Planning provides various cues with configurable filters. The relevant filter fields per cue can be configured via the Worker Role Center Setup. This article describes the data source for each cue, the field being filtered, and how the time period is calculated.
All examples below are based on the work date 21.01.2025.
Section: Overdue
Cue: Overdue Work Order Requests
Data source: Work Order Request. Only registered Work Order Requests are included. The filter applies to the Registration Date / Time field and is determined by the fields Current Period and Previous Period. Calculation is based on the work date; both a start and an end date are determined. The Previous Period must be entered as a negative value.
Setting Current Period – Day:
- Day + Previous Period -1D: yesterday only – e.g. 20.01.2025 00:00 .. 20.01.2025 23:59
- Day + Previous Period -7D: 7 days back to yesterday – e.g. 14.01.2025 00:00 .. 20.01.2025 23:59
Setting Current Period – Week:
- Week + Previous Period -1D: last day of the previous week minus 1 day – e.g. 17.01.2025 00:00 .. 17.01.2025 23:59
- Week + Previous Period -7D: last day of the previous week minus 7 days (start date) to minus 1 day (end date) – e.g. 11.01.2025 00:00 .. 17.01.2025 23:59
Setting Current Period – Month:
- Month + Previous Period -1D: last day of the previous month minus 1 day – e.g. 28.12.2024 00:00 .. 28.12.2024 23:59
- Month + Previous Period -7D: last day of the previous month minus 7 days (start date) to minus 1 day (end date) – e.g. 22.12.2024 00:00 .. 28.12.2024 23:59
Cue: Overdue Work Orders
Data source: Work Order. The period calculation is identical to the Overdue Work Order Requests cue. Differences:
- The status filter is set from the field Status Range Overdue.
- The period filter applies to the Execution Date / Time.
Cue: Overdue Date Proposals
Data source: Date Proposal Line. When the Role Center is opened, Date Proposals are calculated for the relevant period – this process may take some time.
The period calculation follows the same logic as the preceding cues, with one difference: the end date of the filter is always yesterday.
| If additional filters are stored in the Date Proposal Name, these are taken into account. However, for the field Responsible Department, the Role Center Setup takes precedence. |
Section: Current
Cue: Current Work Order Requests
Data source: Work Order Request. Only registered Work Order Requests are included. The filter applies to the Registration Date / Time field and is determined by the fields Current Period and Current Period Additional Time.
Setting Current Period – Day:
- Day + no additional time: today only – e.g. 21.01.2025 00:00 .. 21.01.2025 23:59
- Day + additional time 7D: 7 days into the future – e.g. 21.01.2025 00:00 .. 28.01.2025 23:59
Setting Current Period – Week:
- Week + no additional time: current week – e.g. 20.01.2025 00:00 .. 26.01.2025 23:59
- Week + additional time 7D: current week plus 7 days – e.g. 20.01.2025 00:00 .. 02.02.2025 23:59
Setting Current Period – Month:
- Month + no additional time: current month (from last day of previous month) – e.g. 31.12.2024 00:00 .. 31.01.2025 23:59
- Month + additional time 7D: current month plus 7 days – e.g. 31.12.2024 00:00 .. 07.02.2025 23:59
Cue: Planning – Current Work Orders
Data source: Work Order. The same filter fields as the preceding cue are used. The period filter applies to the Execution Date / Time. Additionally, a fixed filter is applied for Work Order Status value 100 (Planning).
Cue: Execution – Current Work Orders
Data source: Work Order. The same filter fields as the preceding cue are used. The period filter applies to the Execution Date / Time. Additionally, a fixed filter is applied for Work Order Status value 200 (Execution).
Cue: Completed – Current Work Orders
Data source: Work Order. The same filter fields as the preceding cue are used. The period filter applies to the Execution Date / Time. Additionally, a fixed filter is applied for Work Order Status value 300 (Completed).
Section: Future / Planning
Cue: Planning – Assigned Purchase Orders
Data source: Purchase Order Lines. All Purchase Order Lines assigned to a Work Order are included. The filter applies to the Expected Receipt Date field and is determined by the fields Current Period, Current Period Additional Time and Following Period.
Setting Current Period – Day:
- Day + no additional time + no following period: today only – e.g. 21.01.2025 .. 23.01.2025
- Day + additional time 7D + no following period: 7 days into the future – e.g. 21.01.2025 .. 30.01.2025
- Day + additional time 7D + following period 7D: 7 days plus another 7 days – e.g. 21.01.2025 .. 04.02.2025
Setting Current Period – Week:
- Week + no additional time + no following period: today to end of week – e.g. 21.01.2025 .. 26.01.2025
- Week + additional time 7D + no following period: to end of week plus 7 days – e.g. 21.01.2025 .. 02.02.2025
- Week + additional time 7D + following period 7D: to end of week plus 7 days plus another 7 days – e.g. 23.01.2025 .. 09.02.2025
Setting Current Period – Month:
- Month + no additional time + no following period: today to end of month – e.g. 21.01.2025 .. 31.01.2025
- Month + additional time 7D + no following period: to end of month plus 7 days – e.g. 21.01.2025 .. 07.02.2025
- Month + additional time 7D + following period 7D: to end of month plus 7 days plus another 7 days – e.g. 21.01.2025 .. 14.02.2025
Cue: Future Date Proposals
Data source: Date Proposal Line. When the Role Center is opened, Date Proposals are calculated for the relevant period – this process may take some time. The period calculation follows the same logic as the Planning – Assigned Purchase Orders cue (but including time).

Cue: Future – Planned Work Orders
Data source: Work Order. Only Work Orders with status value 100 (Planning) are included. The filter applies to the Execution Date / Time field and is determined by the fields Current Period, Current Period Additional Time and Following Period.
| The settings Day, Week and Month without a Following Period should not be used, as the filter does not represent a valid time range in these cases. |
