The Work Order Request is provided in maintool for recording a Malfunction Notice and all other reports. There, the Work Order Request is entered with a description and reference to the technical object (if possible) and finally registered.
Afterwards, the recorded work order request appears in the role center of the Work Planner, who decides, how the work order request is to be processed.
There are 2 Options:
- Post (synonymous with saving for documentation purposes) or
- Post (see above) and Record a Work Order

If „Post and Create Work Order“ is selected in the role center of the Work Planner, the classic processing steps for processing a Work Order follow, from planning to execution, recording feedback, completion notification and closing of the order.
