Release notes collana maintool 20260800.0

  • Updated

These release notes describe the changes in version 20260800.0, released on September 10, 2026.

Bug fixes

Fixed reports being interrupted due to large amounts of data

Fixed an issue that occurred when reports output large amounts of data: some reports repeated the company logo in every output line, which caused them to terminate with an error. The company logo is now displayed only once.

Fixed posting work order costs to G/L after a cost adjustment

Fixed an issue that occurred when work order costs were posted to the general ledger again after a cost adjustment: the process stopped with a message that a Post Value Entry to G/L record did not exist.

  • The assignment between work order value entries and inventory value entries now takes the Adjustment flag into account. An adjustment entry is assigned to the matching inventory value entry instead of the value entry of the original posting.
  • As a result, posting can be repeated.
  • The posted inventory adjustment is now correctly updated on the adjustment entry, which keeps the inventory valuation and the general ledger reconciled.

Quantity Tracking in the Work Order Feedback

If item tracking lines exist, you now receive an error message when you enter a higher quantity in the feedback lines than is tracked in the item tracking lines.

Costs from general journal postings to work orders are transferred to the value entries

Fixed an issue that occurred when posting from the General Journal with the Account Type Work Order: the costs were missing from the work order value entries. The amount was posted to the general ledger, but did not appear in the work order's statistics, budget consumption or cost analyses. The costs are now transferred correctly.

Fixed prices including VAT when creating purchase documents from work orders

Fixed an issue that occurred when creating a purchase document from a work order: if Prices Including VAT is enabled and the prices are taken directly from the work order, VAT is now correctly added to the prices.

Work order reclassification: amounts corrected for partial reclassifications

Fixed an issue that occurred when only part of a work order entry's quantity was reclassified in the Work Order Reclassification Journals: the cost and sales amounts of the entire entry were posted.

Price calculation in the work order journal

Prices and costs in the Work Order Journal are no longer transferred manually from the work order but determined by the standard price calculation. As a result, the current prices and costs are used.

Mobile app: Description in item information visible without scrolling

In the item information of the mobile app, the Description column was outside the visible area, so you always had to scroll horizontally to see it. The order and width of the columns have been adjusted so that the description is now visible without scrolling.

Mobile app: Missing fields in time recording added

Fixed an issue that occurred when you used time recording for a work order in the mobile app: the Document Date, Posting Date and Execution Date-Time were not set. These fields are now filled, so the generated work order feedbacks can be posted automatically again.

Mobile app: Number series in item consumption corrected

Fixed an issue that occurred when item consumptions from the mobile app were posted in BC: an empty line with the old document no. remained in the journal. New consumptions from the app took over this document no. instead of taking the next number from the number series of the Mobile User Setup, so the same document no. was used again and again.

  • Empty leftover lines are now removed, and new lines correctly get the next document no. from the number series.
  • The same behavior was implemented for stock transfers and physical inventories from the app.
  • All lines of a stock transfer now share one document no. when posted instead of using up a new number per line.
  • The work order lookup in the item consumption now shows work orders from status value 200 (before: from 270).

Upgrade note

Import the mobile app definition (version 20260800.0) again.

Work order reclassification: chargeable quantity was reclassified incorrectly

Fixed an issue that occurred when posting a reclassification: the Chargeable Quantity was lost. It was set to 0 on the original entry without being credited to the entry on the target work order, so the work was no longer chargeable on either work order.

Import of object monitoring lines into the performance characteristics journal respects line status

Until now, the import of object monitoring lines into the Performance Characteristic Journals did not take the status of the object monitoring line into account. As a result, lines with the status Blocked or Deleted were also created as journal lines and could be posted.

  • These lines are now skipped during the import for component addresses, technical components and vehicles.
  • Blocked objects are still not imported either.
  • When an object monitoring line is selected manually in the Performance Characteristic Journals, blocked and deleted lines are no longer offered.

Work order journal: Work type code and values from the work order line are applied correctly

Until now, the Work Type Code in the Work Order Journal was incorrectly cleared when a resource was selected in the No. field.

  • A work type code that has already been entered is now kept when the No. is entered or changed.
  • The values of the related work order line are now also applied when only the No. is entered, provided the work order contains exactly one matching line with this type and No. The values applied include the description, execution date, unit of measure, location, bin, work type code and quantity.
  • The work order line number therefore no longer needs to be selected separately.

Fixed an error in the posting preview of purchase invoices

Fixed an issue that occurred when a purchase invoice was in the posting preview: an empty document no. in the journal lines caused an error. In the posting preview, the document no. in the journal lines is now set to PREVIEW.

Mobile app: The work order draft is no longer deleted in the Ad Hoc Work Order List

An action that caused the work order draft to be deleted has been removed from the Ad Hoc Work Order List in the mobile app.

Fixed error when posting a work order to the general ledger

Fixed an issue that occurred when posting a work order with capitalization and a G/L account to the general ledger: if the work order contained an external service line whose related purchase order had already been posted, an error message appeared. Posting to the general ledger now completes correctly again.

Extensibility when initializing work order detail lines

The procedure InitAndUpdateValuesFromDetail is now public and can therefore also be called outside the GLI Work Order Detail Line table. In addition, the OnAfterInitAndUpdateValuesFromDetail event is available, which allows you to make your own customizations at this point.

Faster Equipment-Informationcenter

Opening the Equipment-Informationcenter for large component address groups is now noticeably faster: the tree structure is no longer fully recalculated on every open but cached internally and only updated when something actually changes.

The Component Address Groups page also shows when this cache was last rebuilt successfully or whether it failed. If needed, you can trigger a rebuild manually there.

Improvements & enhancements

Scheduling end date for time schedules and object monitoring

The Scheduling End Date-Time field is now available in time schedules and object monitoring lines. When it is filled, no new dates are generated and no work order proposals are created after that point in time, for example when maintenance should only be planned for the next year or the next ten years. If the field is left empty, dates are generated without an end date as before.

New status “Expired”

  • Time schedules and object monitoring lines whose scheduling end has been exceeded are automatically flagged with the status Expired. This makes it immediately visible why no new dates are generated.
  • Time schedules now use the same status field as object monitoring (blank, Blocked, Deleted, Expired).

Upgrade note

The previous Blocked toggle in the time schedule is replaced by the status field. Existing blocks are migrated automatically.

Configurable conflict calculation for work orders

A new Conflict Calculation section is available in the Work Order Management Setup. Three switches allow you to individually control whether resource conflicts, item conflicts and external service conflicts are calculated and displayed for work orders.

All three calculations are enabled by default, so nothing changes for existing installations. Disabling individual conflict types can improve performance when working with work orders if the respective conflict check is not needed.

Transfer unscheduled lines to purchase and sales quotes

In the work order, you can now also transfer unscheduled lines to a purchase or sales quote using the Create Purchase Quote and Create Sales Quote functions. Unscheduled lines are lines that were added later at work order status 200 or higher while Extended Work Order Planning is active.

Previously, these lines were skipped during document creation, so no additional document could be created for lines added later.
